Ragnarok has landed with SMITE patch 4.25; it’s time to take a closer look at the event and how it will work.
Ragnarok runs until patch 5.3 and includes three bundles which will release one at a time: the Fire Giant Bundle, the Chaos Bundle and the Gold Fury Bundle. Purchasing all three bundles will reward players with the limited Ragnarok Hades skin.

Each patch also comes with three new quests. Upon completing the quests, players can unlock an Awesome Chest — which gives a guaranteed exclusive skin– by using a key found in each bundle. Those who buy all three bundles receive the Awesome Chests automatically, so you don’t have to worry about the quests if you plan to buy everything anyway.
As far as the cost of everything included, the bundles are actually a great deal. The Fire Giant Bundle includes two skins, extra goodies and an Awesome Chest, so essentially you’re getting three exclusive skins for 750 gems.
Fire Giant Bundle (750 gems)
- Brimstone Beast Camazotz Skin
- Brimstone Demon Thor Skin
- Ragnarok Frame Loading Frame
- Ragnarok Recall Skin
- Molten Key (can be used to open an Awesome Chest after completing three quests; remember, you don’t need to worry about quests if you buy all three bundles)
Within the client, Hi-Rez has also detailed their plans for the future bundles.
Chaos Bundle (launches in patch 5.1)
- Fiendish Flight Jing Wei
- Fiendish Rage Cu Chulainn
- Ragnarok Metal Theme
- Ragnarok Loading Screen
- Molten Key
Gold Fury Bundle (launches in patch 5.2)
- Oblivion Hound Cerberus
- Oblivion Queen Discordia
- Cutesy Cerberus Avatar
- Skull Stamp Jump Stamp
- Molten Key
Collection Bonus
- Limited Ragnarok Hades skin

It’s also not clear if, like the Adventure bundles and Odyssey items, Ragnarok bundles cost less to purchase during their current patch. So it may be a good idea to purchase them while they’re new, but it also may not matter.
