SMITE and Paladins developer Hi-Rez Studios has announced a new venue for the Hi-Rez Expo, home of the SMITE World Championships: DreamHack Atlanta 2018.
According to a statement from Hi-Rez, the move was prompted by “three years of consecutive sell-out crowds” at Atlanta’s Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre, leading the company to move to a bigger locale.
DreamHack Atlanta is scheduled for November 16-18 at the Georgia World Congress Center. The larger venue will allow for “more panels, more meet-and-greets, more playable PCs, and more cosplay” as well as “more players, fans, press, and employees than ever before.”
Tickets go on sale May 9 on DreamHack’s website with prices starting at $55 for a three-day pass. More information about this year’s HRX will be revealed leading up to the event in November.
