SMITE patch 5.17: Hera’s Odyssey heads to consoles

Following Monday’s PC release, SMITE patch 5.17: Hera’s Odyssey is now available on Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

The patch begins SMITE’s yearly Odyssey event, which will conclude with the release of the God Slayer tier 5 Ares skin. Also included are some quality-of-life changes, item and god balance changes and bug fixes.

SMITE developer Titan Forge also notes that “this update will be larger than normal as we continue a technical reorganization of game files to support future growth.”
