Pocket SMITE might be a reality soon.
Data mining site SMITE Datamining revealed that they have found information in the game’s code that suggests a Nintendo Switch version of the third-person, mythological MOBA is on the way.

“A new engine config file has been added for Nintendo Switch under Oasis tag, pretty much as it happened with other console versions,” SMITE Datamining’s post read.
The file also contained strings of code leading to the Nintendo eShop, the Switch’s online marketplace. SMITE Datamining believes these strings are for purchasing gems, SMITE’s currency.
While nothing has been confirmed yet, a Switch release would make sense considering SMITE publisher Hi-Rez Studios’ history. First-person hero shooter Paladins has already launched on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Switch, and battle royale title Realm Royale is in beta for all three major consoles, including Switch. SMITE is the only major Hi-Rez game that has not made its way to Nintendo’s console-slash-handheld.
