SMITE’s 5.12 patch notes are here.
The patch is called Celestial Domination and will bring a new Adventure mode of the same name. Other things for players to look forward to include new Odyssey items and other skins, balance changes and more.
Celestial Domination Adventure
Celestial Domination is a nod to SMITE’s old Domination game mode, which was removed during the PC beta in early 2014. The mode is played five versus five. Teams will capture and defend control points, the same way Domination is played in other games like Call of Duty. Controlling points is key to winning the game.
This Adventure’s currency is called Mystic Jewels. After finishing a match of Celestial Domination, players will be awarded Mystic Jewels, which can be spent on Mystic Jewel Chests. Some items can be exclusively gotten through the Mystic Jewel Chests.
Celestial Domination’s accompanying bundle contains the following:
- Mystic Archer Artemis Skin (limited)
- Mystic Archer Music Theme
- Mystic Archer Ward Skin
- 5 Odyssey Points
- 2500 Mystic Jewels
- 1 Gold Key
