The Olympians SMITE player council announced

SMITE developer Titan Forge Studios announced an elected council of players, called The Olympians, will represent the community in Season 6.

The Olympians will be responsible for communicating feedback from players to the development team.

Qualifications

Those interested in joining The Olympians must meet the following qualifications:

  • 18 or older
  • Valid passport or US ID
  • Able to speak conversational English
  • No EULA or ToS violations
  • Cannot be a former Hi-Rez employee or have been contracted by Hi-Rez
  • Cannot be a current SMITE professional player

Voting process

Voting will be held from Jan. 11-25, 2019 on SMITE’s official website. Nine delegates will be elected to serve from January 2019 to January 2020:

  • 1 PC Delegate with a focus on Conquest
  • 1 PC Delegate with a focus on Non-Conquest Modes
  • 1 Xbox One Delegate with a focus on Conquest
  • 1 Xbox One Delegate with a focus on Non-Conquest Modes
  • 1 Playstation 4 Delegate with a focus on Conquest
  • 1 Playstation 4 Delegate with a focus on Non-Conquest Modes
  • 3 General Delegates (any platform, as voted by the community)

Benefits

Those elected receive the following benefits:

  • Acceptance into the SMITE Partner Program
  • Free admission to Hi-Rez Expo
  • Exclusive in-game Avatar and Title
  • Flight and travel to the annual Summit at Titan Forge Games in Atlanta, GA

Code of conduct

Olympians are expected to abide by the following rules, and failure to do so will result in removal from the post.

  • Members of the council are expected to engage in discussion with Titan Forge and other council members in a professional and constructive manner.
  • Members of the council are expected to respect the Non-Disclosure-Agreements (NDA) at all times and keep ongoing discussion with Titan Forge private unless explicitly cleared to do so by Titan Forge Games.
  • Members of the council must follow the EULA and TOS at all times.
  • Members of the council are expected to maintain a reasonable level of activity with the council, and may not miss more than three meetings in a row unless reasonable explanation is given.
